WHAT is it all about?
The Future Leaders Institute is a series of student-centered, experiential learning events that focuses on leadership development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, career exploration, and academic preparation. Activities are designed to increase self-awareness and self-efficacy, develop leadership skills, and promote resilience.
WHO do we serve?
The Future Leaders Institute primarily serves Durham County students in grades 9-12 and their parents. Program services are made available to all program participants, at no cost.
HOW can you get involved?
The Future Leaders Institute provides its services and programming at no cost to program participants. This is achieved through corporate and individual sponsorship, in-kind services, and community partners. Be a part of your community and empower a Future Leader today!
